I picked these apples, made the applesauce and canned them. Love that.
These were those Lodi apples that I mentioned a couple of days ago. My sister, Mom and I picked these from my grandma’s orrchard. They are summer apples and come into season in July and August.

Be bold, my friends, for this will leave you a little breathless. It’s by far the spiciest recipe I’ve made, to date. It’s also one of the best.
It’s strong, a little sweet, extremely rich and will make you moan.

Mexican food is like the holy grail of food, in my book at least. I love it. I love the heat, the layering of flavors, the chips….
Oh, the chips….
And fried tortillas? Don’t even get me started.
Well, a while back I was searching the pantry for a taco seasoning packet and found that we were out. Danger! Catastrophe!
Then I realized, hey it’s just a bunch of seasonings mixed together. Surely, I can figure this out!
